I promise I haven't forgotten to post things. 

Since my last update, all that's happened is more waiting and making some progress on the paperwork (oh, the paperwork) to obtain a visa. Sidenote: trying to fill out forms that are in another language is pretty good practice if you're trying to learn that language. So, yeah, nothing newsworthy. Next time I post, I'll bring something interesting.

Okay, let's get all caught up:

-I've been accepted by AFS-USA.

-My application was sent to Iceland about 2 weeks ago, so I've got 2-6 more weeks until I'll know if I've been approved there.

-Finished my FBI background check (which is required to obtain a visa) request yesterday and mailed it.

-Now we wait.
